The focus of my work and my life is to empower people - whether Indigenous or not - to take responsibility for their lives. I believe that providing people with opportunities for training and employment enables them to become self-sufficient, find the best in themselves and contribute to a better life for everyone.
I was born and raised on "The Block" in Redfern in inner city Sydney and I value my connection with the people, the Elders and the history of this vibrant community. Creating commercial ventures that benefit the area is a challenge I really enjoy. It's great when we get governments and corporates working together to develop successful and sustainable enterprises.
For me, there is real joy and satisfaction in engaging with people, guiding and advising where I can, and helping to connect the activities of everyone who's working to improve the quality of life for Indigenous Australians. I welcome all enquiries from anyone who either needs help, or who can help me to make a lasting difference.
