Minister for Ageing encourages nominations for the Senior Australian of the Year Award

Minister for Ageing, Justine Elliot encourages you to recognise someone over 60 for their contribution to our nation by nominating them for the Senior Australian of the Year Award.

"There are a many Australians who, in their later years, continue to contribute generously to the community and the nation. They inspire us with their energy, passion and wisdom,” Minister Elliot said.

“The Senior Australian of the Year Award is a wonderful opportunity to recognise these contributions.

“This is your chance to show someone, over the age of 60, that their efforts are appreciated,” Minister Elliot said.

The Senior Australian of the Year Award is proudly sponsored by the Australian Government through the Department of Health and Ageing.
