McGorry to present at the National Portrait Gallery
This Sunday 21st February, Professor Patrick McGorry, Australian of the Year 2010, will give a presentation on his ground breaking work in the field of youth mental health at the National Portrait Gallery, in association with the Australian of the Year: Inspiring a Nation exhibition.
The exhibition, which includes a portrait of Professor McGorry, celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Australian of the Year Awards and showcases a collection of portraits of past Australian’s of the Year.
Professor McGorry has been invited to discuss his extraordinary 27-year contribution to the improvement of the youth mental health sector, which has transformed the lives of tens of thousands of young people the world over.
The Australian of the Year: Inspiring a Nation exhibition is open until 26 April 2010.
