Digital Producer position at the NADC

The National Australia Day Council (NADC) presents Australia Day celebrations and the Australian of the Year Awards to inspire national pride and spirit to enrich the lives of all Australians. The NADC is an Australian Government-owned not-for-profit company operating in a dynamic small business environment.

The NADC is looking to employ a Digital Producer who will be responsible for developing the organisation’s online presence including:

  • Building and implementing the organisation’s digital strategy to engage Australians through traditional, new and emerging digital media
  • Generating content, including multi-media content, for the Australia Day and Australian of the Year Awards web sites
  • Being NADC’s voice within social media platforms – monitoring online conversations and participating as appropriate
  • Coordinating information about Australia Day celebrations nationally to feed into an interactive search functionality
  • Providing informal leadership within the NADC team to drive timely and dynamic content and interaction with the online community 

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A genuine passion for communication in a digital environment
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver digital marketing strategies and online content
  • High level writing skills with a journalistic approach to communication
  • Demonstrated ability managing online content management systems
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic small team environment
  • Qualifications in communications or similar field
