 
The reception, held at the Andrew (Boy) Charlton Poolside Café at the Royal Botanic Gardens, was an opportunity for the sponsors of the Awards to meet the award recipients and hear first hand about their extraordinary work. "Lee and David are fantastic role models and to talk with them about their work and what the award means for them is a wonderful opportunity," said Warren Pearson, National Director of the National Australia Day Council.
