 
The National Australia Day Council sends its best wishes to NSW Senior Australian of the Year 2007, Bernie Banton. Bernie recently announced that he has been diagnosed with peritoneal mesothelioma, an aggressive cancer which attacks the lining of the abdomen. Bernie's strength of character, optimism and dedication to his cause are an inspiration and our thoughts are with him and his family as he takes on this latest fight. |
