Everyday there are older people making communities all around Australia stronger through their efforts in fields ranging from community service and charitable work, to education, business, the arts, sport and beyond. The Senior Australian of the Year Award recognises not only the significant contributions that senior Australians have made over the course of their life, but also their continuing work and achievements.
