 
The National Australia Day Council is now seeking nominations for the Australian of the Year Awards 2007. Do you know someone who deserves recognition for their significant achievements or community contribution? You can nominate them now for Australian of the Year, Senior Australian of the Year, Young Australian of the Year and Local Hero. "The Australian of the Year Awards are based on nominations from the public, so it's up to all Australians to tell us who they think should be considered for the awards," said Warren Pearson, National Director of the National Australia Day Council.
