1985 AwardWheelchair AthleteBorn in Canberra with spina bifida, McIntyre is a wheelchair athlete who has smashed records in wheelchair racing, swimming and athletic field events. She won 16 medals, including nine gold, in the Third Australian Wheelchair Games.
