Recipient Mother of four, family farmer, book editor and member of fourteen community organisations, Karen McIntyre lives in a small country town. She saw past the rural down turn and followed her vision for a vibrant, thriving community. Karen established the Lake Bolac Development Association which has built and opened the local information and business centre. Karen was instrumental in establishing the community bank centre and has obtained funding to investigate an innovative effluent disposal system for their fabulous freshwater lake. |
