Recipient Sana Mammo believes that children are the future of the world. Born in Basra in Iraq, Sana grew up in harmony with Muslim, Jewish, and Kurdish children and gave up her career as a civil engineer to bring her message of peace through children. Inspired by a playground incident, she produced a CD, titled Kidz2Kidz, featuring youngsters from Queensland schools to raise funds for Iraqi schoolchildren and to promote peace and harmony. |
