Recipient Since leaving professional football, Michael Long continues to raise awareness of Indigenous issues. Last year he walked to Canberra and met with the Prime Minister to discuss Indigenous health and education. It was a statement of strength, leadership and inspiration and a step towards uniting all Australians. Michael is a powerful reminder that we all have an obligation to help improve the lives of others, especially the young. |
